In the mid-eighties, I worked at Kinko’s. Being a Polaroid fanatic at the time, I soon discovered reject passport photos in the trash. As soon as I came to work, I checked the garbage can nearest the Polaroid passport camera, the shelves around it, etc. A year long obsession was hatched and a collection was born.
